Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold, five-minute repeating keyless pocket watch with split second chronograph, 60 minute and 12 hour instantaneous register. Four-body, "demi-bassine", polished, concealed hinge, case back engraved “To Vance From Dad 1949”, slide for locking the chronograph at 11 o’clock, button for split-seconds between 10 and 11. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute and fi fths of a second divisions, outermost red Arabic fi vesecond numerals, subsidiary 60-minute register and 12-hour register. Blue steel spade hands. 16 1/4 ’’’, three-quarter plate, 32 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed Tiffany & Co. Diam. 46 mm.
