Fine, tonneau-shaped, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel PVD-coated wristwatch with day & date, round button chronograph, registers, central minute counter, 24-hour indicator and a Sinn stainless steel PVD-coated link bracelet with deployant clasp. To be sold without reserve Two-body, brushed, screw-down case back and crown, inner graduated bidirectional revolving disc, sapphire crystal. Black with painted luminous baton indexes and 1/5th seconds track, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 24-hour registers, outer rotating disc. Luminous black baton hands. Cal. Lemania 5100, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 44 mm. Thickness: 15 mm. Approx. overall length 195 mm. Notes Sinn 142 The Reference 142 is fi tted with the very reliable automatic Lemania 5100. It was the fi rst automatic chronograph in space. In 1985, Reinhard Furrer, a German astronaut wore a Sinn 142 on a D1 mission (STS –61) aboard the space shuttle Challenger. The space shuttle is engraved on the caseback to commemorate the fl ight.
