Extremely fine and rare, large, quarterrepeating, 18K gold, half-hunting cased keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar, moon phases and lunar calendar. Four-body, “bassine”, heavy, polished, the front cover with radial black Roman numerals, inner minute track around the glazed aperture. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dials for the months, date, days of the week and seconds, aperture for the moon phases with lunar calendar on the edge. Blued steel spade hands. 20’’’, matte gilt, 29 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band.
