ROLEX REF. 8171 YELLOW GOLD PADELLONE Rolex, "Perpetual, Officially Certified, Chronometer," No. 187, Ref. 8171, movement No. 10275. Made circa 1950. Fine and very rare, self-winding, 18K gold chronometer wristwatch with triple date and moon phases. Three-body, polished, inclined bezel, inset calendar adjusters on the band, concave and curved lugs, snap-on case back. Matte silver with applied gold faceted baton indexes, subsidiary dial for the seconds, outer minute track and graduation for the days of the month, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases. Yellow gold alpha hands.
