Fine and rare, miniature, minute-repeating, gilt brass and enamel "pendulette de voyage a repetition minutes", 8-day going carriage clock. Accompanied by the original fitted traveling case. Gilt brass, “anglaise riche”, fluted Corinthian pillars, the sides set with opalescent guilloche enamel arch-top panels decorated with gold paillons, winding concealed in the base with sliding cover, hinged fluted handle. Opalescent guilloche enamel to match the sides, gold paillon Arabic numerals, outer gold paillon minute divisions. Gilt Louis XVI hands. 19’’’, frosted gilt watch movement, five-wheel train, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator geared from the base, repeating on gongs activated by depressing a mirrored button on the top of the case.
