Cartier Minute Repeating Clock Cartier, France, No. 124486, the movement by European Watch & Clock Co., Inc., France. Made circa 1910. Fine and rare, minute-repeating, 8-day going keyless desk clock. Matte silver with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. Matte gilt, large going barrel, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, regulation disc in the backplate, centrifugal governor, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the button in the side of the case.
