Jaeger Automobile Mirror Clock Jaeger, "Heures Sautantes", No. 6224, Ref. 16186. Made circa 1938. Fine and very rare, automobile rear-view mirror clock with digital jump hours. Aluminium housing for the movement, lozenge-shaped mirror with apertures for the jump hours and minutes. Later wood and chrome display stand. Black with white Roman numerals for the jump hours, Arabic numerals for the minutes. Red triangular pointer. Rhodium-plated, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed. Dim. 15 x 8.5 cm.
