Jaeger-LeCoultre Zodiac Clock Jaeger-LeCoultre, No. 4944. Made circa 1953. Fine and unusual, gilt brass and glass, 8-day going table clock decorated with the signs of the Zodiac. Circular, gilt brass, on a circular gilt brass base, glazed both sides, the front glass decorated with outline figures representing the signs of the Zodiac. Glass painted with gilt radial Arabic numerals, brushed brass center disc. Black feuille hands. Cal. JLC 222, 43 mm., rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed. Dim. 18 x 17 cm.
