Patek Philippe Ref. 2441, so-called Tour Eiffel Patek Philippe, Genève, movement No. 974113, case No. 666078, Ref. 2441, also called "Pagoda". Production of this reference started in 1948. Made in 1951, sold on November 22nd, 1952. Very fine and rare, rectangular, flared, "bombé", 18K yellow gold wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, pillar-shaped lugs, snap-on case back, domed crystal. Brushed silver with applied yellow gold baton, dot and triangular indexes and Roman 12, auxiliary seconds dial. Yellow gold baton hands. Notes Ref. 2441 Originally called the "Eiffel Tower" by collectors, this model was subsequently renamed "Pagoda" by Patek Philippe. A re-edition of this very successful model was launched in 1997, for the opening of the new Patek Philippe factory. This model is rare in yellow gold.
