Patek Philippe Roman Dial Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, movement No. 151544, case No. 262201. Made in 1909, sold on December 7, 1925. Fine and elegant, keyless, 18K yellow gold dress watch. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Four-body, bassine, solid, polished. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with bold radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel Breguet hands. Cal. 17’’’, matte gilt, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, patent cam micrometer regulator. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 44.5 mm. Notes According to the Extract from the Archives, this watch was originally fitted with a white enamel dial with Breguet hour markers. Because the date of manufacture was 1909 but the watch was not sold until 1925, it is likely that the dial was updated before sale.
