Cartier Art Deco St yle Clock Must de Cartier, No. 8914/04380. Made in the 1980s. Fine, gilt-brass quartz desk clock with alarm, made in the style of Art Deco clocks. Accompanied by the original fitted Must de Cartier box. To be sold without reserve Rectangular, polished with applied red and black geometric motif, top winder to activate the alarm, back with 4 screws and blue cabochon-set buttons for the hand and alarm-setting, hinged handle and block feet. Matte silver, black Paris numerals, luminous dots, outer minute track. Luminous black Art Deco Breguet hands. With quartz standardization. Case and dial signed. Dim: 101 x 87 x 31 mm. Notes In the 1980s Cartier revived the splendor of its Art Deco creations with these desk/alarm clocks. Among those re-created were the Basculante and Tryptyque clocks. All featured typical Art Deco forms, colors, and materials.
