Made in 1963, sold on April 6th, 1973, the miniature after Corot by Suzanne Rohr signed and dated 1969. Accompanied by a Patek Philippe fitted box and the Extract from the Archives. Extremely fine and unique, 18K yellow gold, keyless dress watch with exceptional polychrome painted on enamel miniature depicting part of Corot’s “La Cervara”. Three-body, bassine, polished, hinged back decorated with a painted on enamel miniature depicting part of “La Cervara” after Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot (1796-1875). Matte silver with applied yellow gold faceted baton hour indexes, outer engraved dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold dauphine hands. Cal. 17’’’ 140, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed, dial also signed Gübelin, the enamel signed S. Rohr, 1969. Diam. 44 mm. Notes The Extract from the Archives confirms this watch with enamel painting. It is stated that the watch was fitted with the case (No. 324573) with the enamel painting during a servicing in the workshops of Patek Philippe in 1973.
