Unusual, keyless, quarter-repeating watch with automaton mounted as a desk clock on a gilt-brass champleve and painted on porcelain stand. Three-body, "bassine", raised on a champleve enameled stand, the base with a painted on porcelain panel depicting a reclining gentleman and his dog. Blue translucent guilloche enamel with gold paillon Arabic numerals, outer gold paillon dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, translucent red guilloche enamel with jacks in peasant costume striking bells at the top. Gilt Breguet hands. Cal. 21''', matte gilt, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance-spring, repeating on gongs activated by a push-button in the band.
