IMHOF - CLOCK WITH ENAMEL DIAL - CUPID & THREE GRACES ImHof, Swiss. Made circa 1920. Very fine, black marble, gilt-brass and painted on enamel, 8-day going mantel clock. Circular with fluted side supported by two turned cylindrical blocks with gilt-brass mounts, molded rectangular base, matte gilt brass bezel with blue champleve enamel border. Circular enamel, royal blue chapter ring with radial gold Arabic numerals, the center with a finely painted scene depicting the three graces with Cupid bound to a tree and his bow being broken by one of the graces in a landscape. Gilt-brass serpentine sun and baton hands. 50mm., rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, index regulator.
