Very fine and extremely rare, 18K pink gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register and pulsometer. Accompanied by a fitted box and the Extract from the Archives. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, stylized faceted lugs. Pink champagne with applied pink Arabic 12 & 6 numerals and black baton indexes, outer minute and 1/5th second track with 5-minute/seconds Arabic markers, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outermost pulsometer scale. Pink gold baton hands. Notes Ref. 1579 Patek Philippe launched production of the celebrated reference 1579 in 1943. Examples in pink gold are extremely rare. The present lot is further distinguished by its dark pink case color and by its original pink champagne dial with pulsometer scale - one of the rarest and most sought after combinations to be found on Patek Philippe vintage chronographs.
