Fine and rare, 18K yellow gold keyless dress watch with sector dial. Accompanied by the original Cartier gold-tooled red morocco box embossed with initials FC. Three-body, “bassine”, polished, the interior of the back engraved “Fernand Chantoin 1907-1937”, faceted bow. Brushed silver with bold black sector indexes and Roman quarter-hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel lozenge hands. 37 mm., rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel fl at balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Cartier, movement signed European Watch Co., case with punch marks for Louis Cartier and Edmond Jaeger and numbered. Diam. 45 mm.
