Very fine and extremely rare, large, carillon minute-repeating with three hammers, 18K gold, hunting-cased keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar, moon phases, lunar calendar, chronograph and instantaneous 60-minute register. Four-body, "bassine", polished, the front cover with engraved crest and coronet, the back cover with engraved monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost chronograph seconds, four subsidiary dials for days of the week, date, months concentric with leapyear cycle and 60-minute register, seconds with aperture for phases of the moon with scale for the moon’s age on the edge. Gold fl eur-de-lis hands. 47 mm., matte gilt, 35 jewels, straight line counterpoised and calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance-spring, index regulator, carillon repeating with three hammers on three gongs activated by a slide in the band.
