Very fine and extremely rare, minute-repeating, 18K gold, hunting cased, keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar and moon phases. Three-body, "bassine et fi lets", polished. Glazed gold-rimmed cuvette to view the movement. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dials for week days, months of the leap year cycle, the date and seconds with inner moon-phase aperture. Blued-steel spade hands. Notes To the best of our knowledge, this is only the second watch by Potter of this model to appear at auction. Another example, No. 319, was sold from the Atwood Collection, Sotheby’s, New York, December 1, 1986, lot 367.
