Very fine and rare, water-resistant, amagnetic stainless steel wristwatch with a stainless steel Patek Philippe buckle. Two-body, polished and brushed, fl at bezel, lapidated lugs, screweddown case back, inner protection cap with steel securing washer. Matte silvered with applied steel baton indexes and Arabic 12, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds dial. Steel baton hands. Cal. 27-AM 400, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, bronze beryllium straight-line lever escapement, gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, shock absorber. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 11 mm. Property of a German Collector Notes This watch was serviced by Patek Philippe in 2004. Ref. 3417 Production of this reference started in 1958 using the caliber 12'''- 400, some examples being Amagnetic. The Amagnetic cal. 27-400 AM was launched in 1960.
