PATEK PHILIPPE REF. 592 STAINLESS STEEL STAYBRITE WITH BREGUET NUMERALS Patek Philippe, Geneve, No. 829746, case No. 506760, Ref. 592. Made in 1939, sold on April 19th, 1941. Very fine and very rare, stainless steel Staybrite wristwatch. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Two-body, solid, polished, stepped curved bezel, triangular lugs. Brushed silvered with applied steel Breguet numerals, subsidiary guilloche seconds dial, outer engraved dot minute divisions. Steel feuille hands. Notes The present watch is only the fi fth example of the reference 592 in steel to appear at auction. The Extract from the Archives confi rms the production of this watch with silvered dial and raised steel Breguet fi gures, the dial was renovated by Patek Philippe in 2002. The reference 592 was launched in 1938 and continued in production until the end of the 1940s. This watch is illustrated on page 52 in the book "Patek Philippe Kult-Objekt & Wert-Anlage" by J.
