LECOULTRE – THISTLES LeCoultre & Cie, No. 57775. Made circa 1900. Fine and elegant, 18K gold, lady’s keyless pendant watch with a detachable 18K gold, pearl and rose-cut diamond-set gryphon brooch. Four-body, "bassine", engraved bezel, the back cover cast and chased in relief with naturalistic thistles. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer gold dot minute divisions. Gilt Louis XV hands. 20 mm, matte gilt, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, blued steel fl at balance spring, index regulator. Movement signed. Diam. 24 mm.
