ALPINA DISPLAY CLOCK WITH DEADBEAT SECONDS FOR EXACT TIME Alpina, No. 650. Made for retail display circa 1960. Very fine and rare, 3-day going, triangular, gilt brass, desk/wall clock with deadbeat seconds and stop button for setting exact time. To be sold without reserve Triangular inclined, multi-piece, brushed and polished gilt brass, applied “Alpina” in each lower corner, above engraved “Genaue Zeit”, engraved logo at the top, disc feet. Brushed silver with applied gilt brass baton indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals, outer seconds divisions. Gilt brass dauphine hands. 80 mm., half-plate, rhodiumplated, fausses cotes decoration, 24 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic compensation balance with 3 adjustments, Breguet selfcompensating balance spring, index regulator, stop button in the side of the case for exact setting. Dial and case signed. Dim. 20.5 x 20.5 x 6.5 cm
