Fine, tonneau-shaped, center seconds, self-winding, waterresistant, stainless steel diver’s wristwatch with date. To be sold without reserve Three-body, polished and brushed, screw down case back and crown, graduated bidirectional revolving black bezel for the decompression times. Black with luminous baton indexes, outer minute/seconds track, aperture for the date. Luminous steel dauphine hands. Cal. 1-69, rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, fausses cotes decoration, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating fl at balance spring, gold micro rotor. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 12 mm Notes The Universal caliber 1-69 microrotor movement was made ahead of its time and proceeded the Patek Philippe microrotor by about a decade. Additionally, the very fi rst Polerouter was one of the earliest wristwatches designed by Gerald Genta.
