Collection of 5 Colin Heaney art glass flutes or goblets comprised of the following: One goblet with tortoiseshell colored interior and iridized gold and lilac exterior on a gold stylized stem with faceted crystal specimen and circular clear foot, dated 1999 (height 9.5”); One goblet in iridized silver-blue with pulled decoration in blue, white and pinks with spatters on an amber and clear stylized stem with amber circular foot, dated 2006 (height 9.5”); One goblet in iridized silver with cobalt spatter and organic lines on a stylized stem with faceted crystal specimen on clear circular foot, dated 2001 (height 7.5”); One goblet in iridized dark cobalt blue with silver organic decoration on stylized amber and clear stem and circular clear foot, dated 1999 (height 6.6”). All acid signed and dated on foot along with the Heaney Glass label and original boxes. Hand made in Australia. Colin Heaney is a world renowned glass sculptor. Originally from Canada he moved to Australia when he was 18 for a surfing trip and stayed, settling in the small town of Byron Bay – famous for its surf and arts culture. From there he produced amazing works of art for galleries all over the world. Apparently, Colin Heaney is no longer blowing glass but has moved on to textiles.
