B) British, No. 1297, with assay marks for Birmingham. Made in 1835. Rare silver pair cased pocket watch. To be sold without reserve White enamel with radial 24-hour Roman numerals, outer minute track, radial Chinese characters within another track, outermost track with radial multicolored painted Zodiac animals, center seconds. Blued steel reed hands.
