Three-body, solid, polished, scroll-lugs, inclined bezel, snap-on case back. Matte silver with applied pink gold faceted baton indexes, outer engraved dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds dial. Pink gold dauphine hands. Cal. 12’’’-120. stamped with the seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straightline lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronisms and fi ve positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness 9 mm. Notes Reference 1491, distinguished by its elegant scroll-form lugs, was produced with both the 12 SC and the 12'''-120 calibers. Production of the present version with subsidiary seconds began in 1940 while the version with the 12 SC center seconds movement began in 1943.
