Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold chronometer wristwatch with hacking seconds and an 18K yellow gold buckle. Accompanied by the original Certificate of Origin, Chronomètre Royal booklet and a modern Vacheron Constantin box. Three-body, solid, polished, fl at bezel, oversized straight and curved lugs, snap-on back. Brushed silver with applied yellow gold hexagonal and baton faceted indexes, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold alpha hands. Cal. P1007/BS, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, beryllium balance with timing screws, adjusted to temperatures, shock absorber, selfcompensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 10 mm. Vacheron & Constantin registered the name “Chronomètre Royal” on May 28, 1907. The first of these were a series of pocket watches delivered to Brazil.
