ATMOS – NEUCHATELOISE STYLE LeCoultre, Atmos, Louis XV. Made in the 1960's. Fine, painted and gilded wood Atmos clock wound by barometric pressure changes with conforming wall bracket. Wood, painted green and with fl owers, waisted sides with glass panels, gilded mouldings and fi nial, hinged gilded front door with pierced brass lattice and fl ower fret, spirit level in the base. Off-white, applied brass radial Roman numerals and applied brass outer minute ring, applied brass fl orally engraved center. Gilt brass Louis XV hands. 15 jewels, gilt brass, vacuum chamber winding the going barrel, lever escapement driven by annular torsion pendulum, locking lever below the pendulum disc, regulator at the top. Movement signed. Dim. Height 67 cm., width 28 cm., depth 15 cm. Including bracket.
