Movement made in 1923 and encased in 1936, sold on December 10th, 1936. Very fine, keyless, 18K yellow gold pocket watch. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Three-body, bassine, polished, the back with engraved initials R.B., semi-concealed hinge. Black with applied yellow gold faceted baton indexes, outer gilt painted minute track, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold dauphine hands. 19’’’, frosted gilt, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, moustache straight-line lever e scapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, Wilmot’s patent micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 49 mm. Notes 379 - According to the Extract from the Archives, the movement of this watch was made in 1923 and encased and sold in 1936. At this time it is described as having a silvered dial with rasied gold indexes. It is likely that the present and extremely attractive black dial was fi tted sometime in the 1950s before being re-sold by Eberhard in Milan.
