This watch has been serviced by Patek Philippe whilst leaving the dial untouched and retaining the microscopic fl ecks and spots that nearly 60 years bring, thus adding to the desirability of this beautiful watch as one of the all-time classics of Patek Philippe’s production Ref. 2526. First launched by Patek Philippe in 1953, this was the fi rst self-winding wristwatch model ever made by the company, with the caliber 12'''- 600 AT, bearing the serial number 760,000. It would appear that Patek Philippe produced the Ref. 2526 in 580 examples, often with enamel dial.
