Very fine and unusual, keyless, 18K yellow gold dress watch with chronograph, tachometer, instantaneous 30-minute register and chronograph short-pause feature. Three-body, demi-bassine, polished, button at 11 for start/stop and return-to-zero function of the chronograph, button at 1 for pausing the chronograph hand for short periods. Three-tone silver with black Arabic numerals and baton indexes, outer seconds and fifths of a second divisions with Arabic five-second numerals, outermost blue tachometer scale, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register. Blued steel baton hands. 14 ½ ‘’’, rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, uncut bimetallic compensation balance, index regulator, chronograph wheel above the seconds wheel mounted with a blued steel spring for correcting the chronograph pause. Dial, case and movement signed. DiaM. 47 mm. Notes the chronograph function in the present watch has the abilty to be paused momentarily for a few seconds by depressing and holding down the button at 1 o’clock. when the button is released the chronograph hand corrects itself by the number of seconds paused.
