Very fine and very rare, mahogany and gilt-brass, 8-day going, keyless, deck lever chronometer with power-reserve indication, achieved 1st class rating at the bureaux officiel de st. imier on august 24th 1922. accompanied by the original bulletin de Marche. To be sold without reserve Two-body mahogany deck box with applied brass ‘Longines’ on the lid, the interior with a further applied gilt-brass signature plaque and Extrait du Bulletin de Marche, gilt-brass reeded bezel. Gilt brass cuvette. Matte silver champleve radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and power-reserve. Blued steel spade hands. Cal. 24.41, matte gilt, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with Phillips terminal curve, micrometer regulator.
