OVERSIZE BLACK LUMINOUS DIAL Longines, No. 4722684. Sold on February 23rd, 1935. Fine and rare, large, stainless steel wristwatch with luminous black dial and red 24-hour indication. Three-body, polished, rounded bezel and band, fixed wire lugs, hinged snap-down case back, large crown. Matte black with luminous Arabic numerals, inner red numerals for the 24-hours, subsidiary dial for the seconds, outer minute track. Luminous steel skeleton hands. Cal. 17.26, matte gilt, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, self-compensating blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 44 mm. THICKNESS 12 mm. Notes According to the Longines manufacture, this watch was sold to Zipper, Poland on February 23rd, 1935.
