Fine and rare, rectangular curved, flared, 14K white gold wristwatch with Kreisler 14K white gold-plated bracelet. Two-body, solid, flared sides and lugs, engraved and polished bezel, snap-on case back, recessed winding crown, domed crystal. Two-tone silver with painted black Arabic numerals, inner minute track, subsidiary seconds dial at 6. Blued steel hands. 7 1/2’’’, “Observatory Quality”, rhodium plated, 15 jewels, lateral lever escapement, timed in 6 positions for all climates, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case and movement signed, dial indistinctly signed ‘Dingwall’. DIAM. 26 x 43 mm. THICKNESS 10 mm. Notes This rare 14k white gold Prince was originally sold in Canada by Dingwall. They were a large retailer in Manitoba, where they had a full service store retailing and repairing watches and were railroad watch inspectors. They were later purchased and became Henry Birks & Sons Limited. Usually found in their 9k versions, this is a much rarer sight in white gold, combined with the elegant Art Deco geometric engraving on the case
