Made in a limited edition of 250 pieces in 2000, sold on April 7th, 2000. Very fine and rare, astronomic, water-resistant, 18K pink gold wristwatch with moon phases and an 18K pink gold Lange buckle. Accompanied by a Lange & Söhne fitted box, Certificate, instruction manual, hang-tags, push-pin and service documents. C. Three-body, solid, polished, transparent case back with 6 screws, engraved around the edge ‘Hommage a Emil Lange 1849-1922’, curved straight lugs, sapphire crystals. D. Black with applied pink gold dot and star indexes and an Arabic “12”, outer minute track, subsidiary off-center seconds dial at 5, aperture for the moon phases decorated with a constellation of stars at the sides. Pink gold alpha hands. M. Cal. L 943.1, maillechort, fausses côtes and oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 26 jewels, including 6 in screw mounted gold châtons, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, hand-engraved balance bridge.
