Very fine and very rare, large, 14K yellow gold wristwatch with single button chronograph on the crown and register. Accompanied by a sales receipt from J. Pelkonen of Helsinki dated 1956. C. Four-body, solid, polished, mobile lugs, hinged back, co-axial single button on the winding- crown for start-stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph, the interior of the back cover with engraved inscription. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with large Breguet numerals, outer minutes and fifths of a second divisions with five second numerals, 30-minute register dial at 12, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock. Blued steel skeleton hands M. 17’’’, rhodium-plated, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
