Very fine and extremely rare, 18K yellow gold keyless pocket lever chronometer with chronograph and progressive 30-minute register. Accompanied by the original Vacheron & Constantin fitted box. C. Four-body, “bassine”, polished, semi-concealed hinge, the back cover with engraved initials GC. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved presentation inscription. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track with Arabic five-minute/second numerals, fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register at 12. Gold spade hands. M. 19’’’, rhodium plated, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, visible chronograph work. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. DIAM. 51 mm. Notes The property of the family of the original owner, this watch retains the original box and has remained in extremely good condition with perfect Breguet dial. This model of Vacheron & Constantin chronograph with minute register is extremely uncommon with very few examples known.
