Very fine and extremely rare, sterling silver and enamel elaborately decorated Rococo style egg-form pocket watch. Accompanied by the original fitted leather box. C. Two-body, egg-form, pierced rococo flower and scroll silver work over a midnight blue enamel base, hinged lid with the inscription "Dieu Vous Benit" in white enamel. D. White enamel with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 21 mm. (9 1/2'), frosted gilt full-plate, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, pierced and engraved continental type balance cock, silver regulation dial.
