CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH BAROMETER COMPASS & THERMOMETER French, Retailed by R. Carassale, Montevideo. Made circa 1890. Very fine and very rare, gilt brass, carriage clock with barometer, compass, thermometer and painted on enamel panels in a Chinese motif. C. Gilt-brass, double case with Corinthian columns, beveled glass aperture in the top for viewing the escapement, right side with barometer and compass at the top, in the middle thermometer in centigrade, solid handle with fluted centers, each side set with a very finely painted light blue enamel, glazed back door. D. Enamel with blue painted Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, gilt dial mask. Blued steel spade hands. M. Rectangular gilt brass plates, going barrel, cylinder escapement on a brass platform, three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Notes Dim. 15 x 17 x 7 cm. Including handle.
