Fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K pink gold wristwatch with day, date and an 18K pink gold President bracelet. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, fluted bezel, crystal with cyclops lens. Satine silver with applied faceted pink gold baton indexes and luminous dots, outer minute/seconds track, apertures for the day and the date. Luminous pink gold alpha hands. Cal. 1030, rhodium-plated, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock absorber, free sprung self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case, and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 13 mm. Notes This reference was first introduced at the Basel Fair in 1956. It was produced for a limited time, approximately 14 months, before being replaced by Ref. 6611. The very rare combination of the short production period and the “Day-Date” logo in red print at the bottom of the dial makes this watch a highly sought-after model among collectors.
