BUCHERER 20 DOLLAR COIN WATCH Bucherer. Made circa 1960. Very fine, keyless, 18K yellow gold purse watch, set into a 20 Dollar coin dated 1884. Three-body; on one side, the American Eagle, the shield and the mottos “E Pluribus Unum” and “In God We Trust”, and on the other side, the profile of Liberty, opening through a push button in the reeded band, brushed bezel with engraved baton hour markers, winding crown at 1, glazed both sides and attached to the coin by a hinge at 6. Champagne with black painted Roman numerals. Black baton hands. 9 ¼’’’,17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, adjusted 3 positions, self compensating flat balance spring. Dial signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 4.5 mm.
