Very fine, rare and large, silver, keyless deck and pocket lever Chronometer navigation watch with power-reserve indicator and Guillaume balance. Four-body, "bassine", polished. Hinged silver cuvette. Matte silver with painted Arabic numerals, up-and-down indication at 12, large subsidiary seconds dial. Blued-steel spade hands. Cal. 162, rhodium plated, fausses côtes decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic Anibal brass Guillaume balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Notes Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 60 mm. This watch is from a series of 150 lever chronometers made by Vacheron Constantin for navigational use in the 1940s.
