Fine and rare, early, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with round button split-seconds chronograph and register Three body, solid, polished, screwed bars, inclined bezel, snap on transparent case back, sapphire crystals. Guilloche silver with painted radial Roman numerals on a plain reserve, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register, outer minute/second divisions with every five radial Arabic markers, Cal. 179, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 20 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self- compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Notes signed "No. 13" at 6. Blued steel Breguet hands. Dial signed « Franck » , case stamped with gold marks and casemaker initials JHP for Jean Pierre Hagmann. DIAM. 38.5 mm. THICKNESS 12 mm. The present lot is one of the first model realized by the watchmaker Franck Muller before he built his manufacture, reason why the dial is only signed « Franck ».
