RENTLRAG - JASPER AND GOLD LOUIS XV WATCH Rentlràg à Paris, No. 419. Made circa 1750. Very fine and rare, 22K gold-mounted bloodstone and diamond- set pocket watch. Two-body, the back carved from a single piece of bloodstone jasper mounted in gold, the jasper bezel to match with in gold mounts, diamond-set thumb piece. White enamel with painted black radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with black five minute Arabic numerals, winding aperture between 3 and 4. Blued steel beetle and poker hands. 30 mm. hinged, frosted gilt full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three-arm balance with flat balance spring, double-footed foliate and engraved balance cock, diamond endstone, silver regulation dial.
