Paul Gamier, Horloger, 6 & 16 rue Taitbout, Paris, No. 6894, made for the Paris - Lyon - Mediterranee, railway company, circa 1860. Very fine silver hunting cased decimal Tachometer Systeme E. Marie, with decimal minute recorter, in original fitted box. Four body, massive, "forme quatre baguettes", polished, the cover engraved: "P. L. M. Exploitation ", the tachometer table engraved inside the cover calculated for one kilometer. Hinged silver cuvette.
