Fine and unusual, center second, stainless steel gentleman' s wristwatch with alarm. three body, polished, satined, the button near the winding-crown is for stopping the alarm when striking. two-tone silver with applied gold Arabic numerals, outer fifth of second and twelve times fifty graduations. "Dauphine " gold hands. Notes The Vulcain Cricket wristwatch was made from 1947 onwards. The Cricket existed with central and eccentric second and without calendar. The alarm hammer strikes a steel membrane, as in the Golden Voice - lady's alarm wristwatch launched in 1958, but with an alarm membrane in gold - over which a perforated back lid is pressed.
