H. R. Ekegren, Geneva, No. 77545, made for J. E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia, circa 1890. Fine 18K pink gold keyless watch with split seconds chronograph. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished, engraved inside the back with a dedication dated Jan. 13, 92. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, sunk centre and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands.
