Esquivillon & Dechoudens, Geneva, circa 1830. Fine 18K gold, ruby-set watch. Double body, "forme quatre baguettes " , bezel and back engraved with foliate and set with faceted small rubies. Gold engine-turned with Arabic numerals and blank cartouches. Blued steel Breguet hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass threearm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the back plate. Diam. 39 mm.
