Breguet, Swiss, No. 8980, circa 1800. "Le Vice et la Vertu" Very fine and unusual 18K gold watch with concealed enamel painted erotic scene. Three body, Directoire with concealed hinge, polished. A very finely painted enamel scene within a concealed compartment in the back, features a young maiden in a landscape, resisting the advances of a suitor. White enamel with Arabic numerals and outer minutes ring. Gold halt-moon hands.
