After graduating from the renowned Watchmaking School of Le Lode, Switzerland, Alexis Garin worked for a short time at Piaget, then as independent watchmaker on antique watches and clocks and at Vacheron Constantin specifically on skeleton watches. Alexis Garin's work reflects his passion for 18th century timepieces. His creations, with wonderfully harmonious and high quality movements, make the link between watchmaking traditions of the past and today's new technologies. He specialises in elegant and sophisticated skeleton wristwatches which he executes by hand, with all the mastery that this delicate technique requires. It is highly intricate and precise work and a watchmaking tradition that in Switzerland, today, is only handmade by less than ten watchmakers.
